I know from the Hobie website that the beam of the Wave is 7 feet. Could someone tell me the distance between the skegs (?) at the hull bottoms (which would be the same as the distance between rollers on a trailer)? I want to make certain a Wave will fit over the fenders on a Trailex 16 catamaran trailer, which would require about 70 inches.

Outside edge to outside edge on the stub keels at the back looks to be 69.25 inches.

Brian:

Many thanks. Looks like the Wave would just clear the fenders. And the rollers probably hold it above them, anyway.

Best,
Kevin

Kevin,

You need to remember that the hulls flare out fairly quickly from the center line of the hull. Be prepared to improvise.
