Posting an image... Images must be hosted at a location on the internet. (Suggested site: imgur.com or flickr.com)

Check the image below. Right click on the image to see the copy image address popup option:

Image

Image URL ends in .jpg or .png or similar.

Navigate to your image page. Right click the image and copy the "propeties". This must be an image address (url) rather than a url to a page. Click the above image to test and look at properties and address (url).

Rather than a link to the page it was on. The address should end in something like .jpg or .gif

Use the buttons above the post text area to find the proper code.

Use [img]then%20the%20image%20url%20and%20click[/img] again.

Be sure to have the option " Disable BBCode " unclicked!

and you are done.

Just completed the skeg cable re route. Still so hard to pull it will cut the kayak at the scuppey hole. I finally drilled a hole in the skeg about 3 inches from bottom of skeg , removed line from roller and went straight down to the hole in skeg. Line is on slight angle away from rudder. Removed cap from skeg pull handle and pulled all slack from line with skeg in down position. Skeg works so much better and without fear of cutting kayak at scupper from skeg line.

All warranty claims are handled by your dealer... Contact your dealer if you have the following issue.

Not all 2015 boats have this issue, read the detail concerning the differences.

We have discovered a problem with the routing of the tracking skeg's up-control line in some 2015 Pro Angler 12 and 14. The line has excessive friction at it's exit point within the steering drum area, under the black plate. We have received some reports of lines cutting into the exit grommet. This affects 2015 model serial numbers ending in 415 as well as A515, B515, C515 and possibly a few boats in D515. The issue was corrected on the assembly line April 2nd.

If your boat has this issue you will see the grommet forward of the drum as shown:

We have created a kit and instructions for re-routing this line. The video below explains the fix. It should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Kits should be ordered through warranty.

84610122 PA SKEG LINE KIT
The kit contains a 5/16 panel rivet and a short line tube with end grommet.

This is not a safety issue. No leaking is caused but function of the tracking skeg could be compromised.

Owners wishing to do the update should contact their dealer to file a warranty claim.
