The seat back is reclined. When I pull out the lever and lean forward the seatback does not follow me forward. The right stanchion is looser than the left. Should I take it apart?

I took it apart and put the white line back on the pulley. Back in business!

Great!

Be careful to put some pressure on the backrest before releas=ing the recline lever. It seems sometimes that the fast recoiling line can jump the pulley. If the line is out (reclined backrest)... but the seatback is forward (slack). Then the lever is pulled...
