Hello,
On my way to order my first Hobie.
Hopefully some of you can help me out.
Like to use the hobie for ocean fishing, for now I am looking at the compass and the outback.
My questions are based on the wish to keep it all in one piece,
Thoughts are I don't need 180 drive if it's not as strong/good as the normal fins
In other words if you had to pick the most reliable drive which one would that be.
Are turbo Fins less strong (more stress) than the normal ones.
I have a background of cycling, can I go out for big distance with a reasonable speed without worrying about my material.
The compass is lighter in compare to the outback, is the quality of the boat (thickness of the hull) the same as the outback,
so the main difference in weight is because of all the bells on the outback.
I will only go out with reasonable good weather but here in the south of Spain the weather can change quickly, so it would be
great if the boat can handle wind and waves.
Because of the weight iam looking mostly at the compass.
I am thankful for your answers
Michel
