I have just placed a deposit on a new 2008 Bravo & will pick it up in the spring. I also ordered the boom. My question is this: Are you still able to reef the main when the boom is attached?

Yes. It just takes an extra step. If you check the assembly manual, you'll see the details.

darter159,

After having my Bravo for about 3 weeks, I say ordering the Boom kit was a good idea. Its really necessary to control sail shape and placement when sailing off the wind. I'm looking to get one now.
