Werner,

You tie off one end of the righting line to the compression post directly under the mast. Then thread through a grommet in the tramp at the base of the mast. I use a half hitch keeper knot on top of the tramp to keep it from sliding down the compression post. Stow the remaining righting line in the middle tramp pocket. When you capsize (not IF  ) pull the righting line out of the pocket and drap over the hull in the air. You should know what to do after that

Glad to help out and welcome you to the Hobie gang here in Michigan.

John

Righting line goes tied around the dolphin striker post and stuff the rest into the tramp bag.

DHFiend...

Cresent has started an F18 fleet. Chris Tuckfield and Matt Bounds are the driving force behind it all. Tiger's and all F18's are welcome.

Awesome - I will try to get in touch with Chris. I grew up sailing Tcats at CSYC and we are in full growth mode for Tigers and F18s in the PNW this year.

Cheers

Not Tigers, per se. F-18s.

I have the only Tiger at the club, although I'm leaning on JB and a couple others to join and help me outnumber the NACRA F-18s
