After enjoying the AI, I decided to get a i14T this year to share with the family the joy of the mirage pedaling system.
The i14T is a great boat, I've already done quite some trips in solo and tandem configuration and it's been a great machine everytime.
The other day after a 9 mile trip to a nice beach in Menorca, due to weather change, I decided to hop on a friends boat, and tow the kayak back home at slow speed. After a 20 minute tow at around 8 NM/hr, we lost the kayak. We turned around and find out the reason of having the handle and stainless steel triangle with us at the boat. The PVC strip that holds the handle in place became loose at one end.
Any tips as to how may I fix it?
The strip is not broken, is just out of one end ... that is the end closer to the first passenger is in, and the other is out ... I'm wondering if I should cover it in the repair kit glue and shove it back in :), and if I should shove it forward (so the strip makes an N shape) or if I should shove it backwards to the back of the boat.

Thanks for your time.

Xavi

Pictures would help - but yes...everything on the kayak is repairable with the glue provided with your i14 patch kit - looks like you found the limit of the handles...they obviously weren't designed to handle towing it seems. Good feedback - thanks. let us know how the repair goes.
