Is this upgrade available at no cost to 2007 AI models?

Interesting, apparently my dealer ran into some sort of resistance from hobie on this issue. I figured I'd get the scoop here.

No resistance from Hobie for an '07 Adventure "Island"... Although, if they said it was just the standard Adventure, that would make sense.

The kit description is in the AI forum tech notes.

07-08 AI's free
08 Adventure free
07 Adventures are not eligible for the free kit

Thanks Matt. I'll check with them today since I have to stop by and discuss my cracked cross bar.

Hi Matt, seems like my dealer and hobie are butting heads on many issues. Kinda leaves me on the sidelines. I've been watching the wind and water and wishing I could partake. My dealer was gracious enough to offer thier AI demo but I declined. (I also have a cracked crossbar) I wouldnt want potential buyers to suffer at my expense. Summer ends quick in NH (so does the waranty on my AI).

Does anyone know if you can go to any dealer. Not the selling dealer. An 07 AI needs rudder up grade...
