Hi All,

A few pics of the red AI on it's maiden voyage. Getting the other one on Saturday. Will post a few more pics soon. My daughter loved it and I think a few more trips and she'll be solo.

All the pics below are in the Cunningham Arm of the lakes at Lakes Entrance.

Nice Pics DJ :)
Looks like our neck of the woods is getting some pretty good coverage in this thread 8)
Pirate & I had a great time sailing out of newlands Arm on New Years Eve afternoon. The winds were very strong and we had a wild old time
In case you're considering it, Pirate doesn't recommend leaving the cart wheels in when you go sailing   :P

Hi Guys,

I have the first couple of weeks of Feb off. I'm interested in your lakes trip. Ian might mothership for us with the Haines Hunter which would make life really cruisy, especially if we wrapped it around a weekend.

My mobile number is (removed 3 Jan)

Post here to let me know you have it and I'll edit the thread & delete it.

I"m catching up with Pete in the morning to pick up the yellow one.

Oh, and thanks for the cart tip...

Dave

G'day Dave

Got your number OK and will keep in touch. 8) :)
Feb sounds OK to me but not sure about Pirate - he's going on a island cruise. It might be OK if it's the first weekend (Sat 31 Jan/Sun 1 Feb) or Sat 7/Sun 8 Feb. :?:
The idea of Ian mothershipping for us is very appealing too. :)
Hasn't he bought one yet?? I thought he might be doing the trip with us too.

Are you meeting Pete locally :?:

We're planning on going to Metung today on our AIs. :D :D

Mickey

Thanks Dave. I now also have your phone number so delete away.
Early Feb works for me if Jan is inconvenient as the ship doesnt depart till the 18th Feb.
Looking forward to today Mickey, but you may be confused (being an Officer) as Dave is talking about another Peter who he is travelling up with to pick up the second Island.
Well gotta go and load the Island for another adventure in paradise..  Pirate

A UFO attracted much attention this afternoon in Lakes Entrance.

An unidentified floating object buzzed the pedalo boats and hire stand at some speed before disappearing in a yellow blur to the east.

One pedalo hire staff member was seen to race for the binoculars to get a better look at the strange craft but was unavailable for comment this evening on what he saw.

A second pass later in the afternoon was cause for further examination and one of the staff came out in a tinny to meet the invader to determine if in fact they were friendly. After a friendly meeting he returned to shore to tell the other staff what he saw...

As it turned out it was just one of the locals, Dave in his other Adventure Island.

A serene and tranquil photo of Mickey paddling down the Nicholson River yesterday that terminates in the Gippsland Lakes. If you look closely you will see the koala in the tree. The water was warm and we swam and pa(e)ddled our way up the river a few miles.

Going again this morning..... :P :P :P Pirate
