The HCA is already hard at work trying to secure a site for the 2010 Hobie 16 N.A's.They would like to hear from the 16 sailors where they would like to see the venue.Galveston Texas has been mentioned as one possible site, but they are willing to listen to suggestions of other possible locations.Feel free to post here or contact your 16 class rep at [email protected].

Wow, I would have thought there would have been 500 posts on this subject by now.
Nobody has any idea where they would like to see this event in '10? We have had a few people say they love Galveston TX for an event like this in early summer because of the beach, wind, and temps. Just one idea, anybody have a better idea? San Diego? Little Rock? Lake Tahoe? Lake Michigan??

You want to host the Hobie 16 NAC at Hefner? That would be awesome if you can get the proposal together.

We gotta find a place where they can be held during the summer so the kiddies can be at the SAME EVENT. June, July, Aug.
Keep discussing.
What about Salt Lake City? Isn't that supposed to be an awesome place to sail?

The problem is that the 16 racers make up a small percentage of the people that use these forums. These forums are excellent for new guys and guys like myself that are some what isolated and enjoy some sailing conversation. It would be nice if we could get more of the racing community to join in on the forum once and a while. This would be an excellent way to allow the racing guys to input some of there ideas and suggestions. The Hotline is a great Magazine but we need a quicker approach of communicating with the masses. This thread is a good example although it pertains to the 16 racers, out of all the responses only one guy is a regular National competitor. It would be nice to hear from the Hesses,Montagues,Modderman,Colons,Slim Johnston,Raybons....communication is a good thing even if it is only on the internet.Where else but here can everyone be heard?I know it's another cold night here :)

Fleet 44 in FT. Lauderdale is a pretty active racing fleet. They might be intertested in helping organize a South FL. N.A.'s.
