I took the plunge and decided to break out the drill on the new Pro Angler. The anchor trolley is pretty standard and fits well along the outside upper edge of the gunwale. I have started eliminating the stainless steel ring for the anchor clip to attach due to the noise it makes on the hull. I now tie a simple loop knot for that attachment.
For the Scotty rod holders, I needed something to hold my rods while in sitting position, but also while standing and fishing. The Pro Angler provides two very sizable mounting boards, so finding a space for the Scotties was easy. I decided to go with flush mounts, so 1 1/2 inch hole is required for drilling. I mention this, because the mounting board overlaps the top edge of the gunwale, and this should be avoided when drilling through the mounting board! Here's a few pics of the trolley and rod holders.
