Hi Hobiefans,

I recently bought a brand new Hobie 16. Now I'm trying to have a original Hobie t-shirt printed with the sailnumber (108890) on the back.
So I hope someone can give me the font of the number in the mainsail.
I asked Hobie USA and Europe, but no response yet..

Thnx !!!!!

What Font?

No Idea. Anyone else match it to a font? These were made well before digital fonts were around.

Hi Matt,

The sailnumber seems to be a special font. As far as I know Hobie always used this font for printing the number on the sail.

Here's the pic :

I went through all my fonts and Imprint MT Shadow (in bold) seems to come pretty close but it's not exact. Yes, I know there's some bizarre shadow effect going on, but if you're making a graphic that could be ignored and you could just go with the outline.

I found it!

I'm working on the program for the H-16 North Americans and I used a really cool font seach program to find it.
