Actually that's probably a safe move to stay in Canada. The US is fulll of criminals and you could get mugged or worse. Have you seen the show Cops?

We did - but he only raced the distance race (which was probably the best sailing of the weekend).

Saturday, we got one really goofy race in (big wind shift was trying to force its way across the course - but couldn't make it - being caught in the transition zone was murder) before the big thunderstorms came in.

Sunday was nuts. Cold air, cold water, gusts to over 30 kts. Only 8 boats finished (out of 63).
