I was replacing the spool housing on my H14 Jib Furler and I broke the c-clip retaining ring on the top of the jib assembly. I'm having trouble finding the part # or a diagram that is detailed enough to show the part #. Can someone help me out? Does anyone know the part number? Thanks

If its a standard C clip, you can find those at any hardware or home improvement store. Bring the furler with you and try out the different sizes till you get a good fit.

The furler started as a Hobie 18 part, so the breakdown of the parts is in that section of the parts catalog. Page 58 (lower left).

Its called a "darby ring"

There are two sizes. One at the bottom # 8062511 and the other above the drum # 8062501.

Thanks mmiller, didn't know the furler was the same for all the cats. I have been using a c-clip from the hardware store but that's steel and it's starting to rust. Thanks again

Good point! I need to add a note where the cross reference is needed. Thanks!

The last one I got from my dealer appears to just be a regular ring. It , too is rusting! :?
The original was stainless- except for the fact that it broke, it still looked good
