Hey, has anybody seen these? I found them on 5thofNovember's website.

Apparently they are Hobie parts and cost about the same as a tennis ball  .

I`d buy `em. I like the longer wheel base on the new cart too. Just wish they would switch to a solid sponge type tire. The silver balloon type are easy to puncture on broken shells.

Are they designed to make the yak more stable on the kart or to better distribute the weight so preventing hull distortion?...Pirate

They distribute the load. This helps to prevent a dent in the rounded bottom caused by the crossbar / pad.

I cut 2 x 3" pieces of Pool Noodle and slipped 'em over the upright cart Toobs, (That's how you Mellican's say it), to raise the boat up and stop the arse dragging while carting on uneven ground, I found out it also cured the crossbar dent thing afterwards.

( Careful Pirate, Oz humour can get you into trouble in the Excited States.)

That's what I use to use as well Skymax, but the noodles add more buoyancy to the wheelcart, making them harder to plug in underwater. The clamps are a better option I reckon, albeit a coupla bucks dearer.

and of course the sponge tires should be taken into account(if they actually exist).
Im afraid that I owe this website an apology for eating too many nuts. "Beetle nuts". Just taking the stress off my life and posting wildly hoping we all have a sense of humour. HELL

Even Matt has a sense of humour...

Well -maybe not Matt
But the rest of us have humours. :D
