Hi... one of the forks on my dolphin striker wire rusted through and broke... this is the 3d season for it, which really surprised me... I put ALL new rigging and it all still looks great, except for this item...

Anyway... where do I buy JUST the wire? It's already a turbo so I don't need the kit?

Didn't see at Murray's . com and ... the part number shows as a rod in the manual, but mine is a wire.

Help! Turbo turbo.... LUV how this little boat just hauls butt...!!

Thanks much!

I think the wire ones were an aftermarket kit, but I think Murrays would be a good bet!

On the striker post, is there a difference between the 16 and a 14 striker? ThANKS.

For the "wire" striker there have been a few variations. Murrays had sold a different one than Hobie's I believe. That one had a "captured" wire that had to be made on the casting. Hobie's is slotted allowing wire replacement. We do offer a replacement wire with end fittings # 11170000 (its in the catalog numerical section).

The production H14 Turbo strikers were stainless rod like the H16 but shorter.

It may not be the original front crossbar, or

It may be a retrofit (it's not that hard - I did one on my 14).
