We also had occasion this weekend to find this cool little inlet with lots of nature and wildlife like turtles, frogs, etc. We took the drives out and popped up the rudders. On the AI, I rolled up the starboard tramp and pulled in the ama. I split the paddle into 2 parts, and I paddled the right side, and my 11 year old the left. We really had to push over some spots, but it was all soft and mucky, so not harmful, just an effort - but worth it.

My wife asked me three times if there were alligators in Wisconsin. I said no, but if there were, just beat them back with that paddle!
