EZ, it is great to see how others have their yaks rigged, gives me lots of ideas I can "borrow"! do you find the rod holders with rods in them are in the way when you need to paddle? where do you keep your net?
I moved my rod holders to the rear of the rails as they were in the way when I wanted to paddle instead of pedal.
can you see your FF ok when it is in the mast mount?
I have since switched to the single paddle setup on my PA. Hobie provide a handle to turn the duel paddle into a single. Having been out well over 20 times and countless hours I've used the paddle once.
These rod holders can be positioned at any angle, both at the ball and the rod holder itself. I like that i can angle them back to me or adjust them to hold a rod while unhooking a fish/rigging.
The size of the screen on the 565 is bigger than most smaller FF. I have no problem seeing the screen. Its also not that bad to reach forward to adjust if need be.
Here is a good shot of the FF from the seat.
