Just wanted to post a quick FUN post telling all your double handed cat skippers out there to give a big round of applause to a group of people who are the unsung hero's of the race.

Lets give it up for out crews!

If your crews are unsung heroes then it is up to you to change that. I would never take credit for winning a race without giving all the exposure that I could to my crew, and girlfriend, Eileen.

We sail a Hobie Tiger. This last weekend we were sailing in conditions that sent some of the competitors to the beach. The last race on Sunday was blowing better than 20. We were flying the spinnaker downwind, hull out of the water, with her out on the wire in pretty big swells. Did I hear a complaint? Not one. She is a trooper! We crossed the finish line first in that race. She was pooped but there with a smile.

Dan,
Sounds like a fun race. Say hello to Eileen. Wish I could have been out there with you two.
