The format of the forum seemed to change a couple of days ago and I noticed a few recent posts were lost. Now I notice that search is yielding very few hits. For example, a search for the word "rudder" yields four hits on the AI forum. Fortunately, a search on topics by Roadrunner gives 985 hits, so we haven't lost his virtual user manual. Also, everyone's email has disappeared. Anyone know what gives?

Don't know what's going on but suspect it may have to do with the hacking and upgrade Matt posted about. The search is definitely not working properly, old posts are only partially appearing and some weird characters have taken the place of apostrophes! :?

I know change is good and needed but I liked the old format. I haven't seen anything I like better.I hope I get to like this one soon.

Offline or Online should be your "Logged-in" status. Works for me.

Pirate, somewhere in your profile, there's an option to either show or hide your presence online, as I recall.

Old news... Look at the original post date... from last April.

Just so we don't get confused...

The forums are working well now and search function is good. I did a search for "rudder" in the root forum for AI... something like 72 pages of results.

Matt - Will the "Adventure Island" eventually rate its own "Classifieds" (like the "Sailing" and "Kayaking" sections?)
...or should we continue to post and look through the "Kayaking" classifieds?

I've enjoyed the new forum layout - thanks for recognizing we needed it (...even before I did). :D
