My local dealer sells the Bravo boom kit for CAD$475.00 (USD$455.00) plus tax...it seems like a whack of money. Is it about the same price in your area?

It was $300.00 in 2005 from a US dealer.

$377.50 USD in the 2009-10 Catalog.

This does not include freight and duty.

Sailed with my new boom from:

http://www.backyardboats.com/Store/Products.aspx?find=boom&manufacturerid=1&order=nameasc

in both light and gusty conditions - very pleased. $388 and their shipping was very reasonable; nice place to do business. Cheers, Kevin.

I just noticed a good price drop on boom kits (CAD$399) at Fogh Marine in Toronto. Will see if my local dealer will price match. I need two of them...so hopefully there's some flexibility....
