I'm mounting an anchor trolley, mirage leash, safety flag and possibly some other accessories that require drilling holes in my PA. Should I bother with the mess of sealing around the connections (nuts, bolts, washers) on the inside of the hull with marine silicone? I find it hard to imagine, but could these connections possibly allow enough water leakage to cause a problem? Any advice is appreciated!

I don't bother sealing anything above the waterline.. Any seepage would be negligible. 8)
