Quinton Echols

Home waters:

Jig master Quinton Echols is a firefighter-paramedic by trade. Chasing largemouth and elusive smallies is a relief from his tough job. He keeps his Hobie Pro Angler at the station so he can hit the water right after a shift. “Fishing helps me forget the nights at work, which are often filled with tragedy. Fishing is my escape, my passion, my peace, my way to cope,” he says. Echols won big fish honors at the inaugural Hobie Bass Open in 2014.
