Hi -- I had a local dealer say they've gone to the moss and sand colored hulls because red would turn to pink, blue to ? and yellow to pale yellow? I really love the red Revo, however wondering how it'll age. I plan for this to be a longterm relationship.....

Most of the colors age fine, but the red does fade the fastest and to a pinkish red.

I use 303 on my poly boats and have never had a problem with any color fading.

Yes. I bought mine at Ace Hardware. Some folks apply it once or twice a year. I do my decks 3-4 times and the bottoms 1-2 times.

I just learned of the 303 product recently. My yellow Oasis was just beginning to show a few very slightly faded areas. I'm in Florida - sun is strong!! This stuff is great. The yak looks great. I used a few light applications the first time. I imagine that regular application (every couple of months?) will keep it nice. I put it on with the yak held in a sling hoist in my garage. Easy to do. Also a good time to check the hull and fittings.
303 !! 303 !! 303 !!
Regards
Ron

I learned about 303 Aeropsace Protectant right here and WOW!!! for my first impression. Yak looks BETTER than when I bought it... $18 for a bottle seemed like a lot and then I did my entire boat and hardly made a dent in it. Environmentally sound to boot. Thank you so much "dregsfan"!

Be careful if you do the cockpit area as it makes it very slippery. :)
