These are Nike "Sneakerboats". Yes, they dry easily and keep their open shape so they air out well. There is a little "give" on the bottom for cushioning without having to use an insert. The sole is quite grippy so it tends to hold on to the pedal better than my others have. The longevity is good, comfort is excellent. I found them at Sports Authority. Retail was about $40, but I got some on sale at the end of the season for $20. They are a great improvement over the other brands I've tried -- like them enough to have two back-up pairs.
I think they may have been replaced with the Sneakerboat II. Construction appears almost identical (different color and pattern) but haven't tried the latest version.
