Revolution 16

Not showing as different from the original Adventure configuration, so I assume the weight is incorrect on this one as well. I'll mention it.

Has the front hatch been enlarged like the AI, so that it fits the Miragedrive? It looks a bit different in the side by side shot in the above review.

Fixed my problem though. Installed a Scotty 136 Paddle Clip to the right side just above my Trolley Line up.
I actually like how the Scotty Clip works.

The Trolley Line setup was a little tricky though because I like using the rear shock cord end screw for installing a double shock cord to my rear trolley pulley. The Revo16's shock cord end screw is aft of the drain plug so the rear trolley pulley shock cord stretches over the top of the drain plug. No big deal just makes removing the drain plug a little awkward. Luckily the Revo16 has 2 drain plugs.

As soon as I began my maiden voyage with the Revo16 I noticed immediately the stock ST Fins were way to easy to pedal. It was like being in too low of gear on a bicycle where your feet spin too fast. I'm not sure why it is so different then the Revo13; maybe less drag with the narrower and longer Revo16 hull configuration. But I will be installing the ST Turbo fins immediately. BTW, I am no athlete. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Yes, that makes sense. The original "Comfort" fins were even easier (1st gear), so we consider ST to be 2nd gear. ST Turbo... 3rd.

Performance is pretty similar between ST and ST Turbo.

Ok. I upgraded my mirage drive from my 2014 Revo13 to Glide Technology. Like the 2015s. This setup has the ST Turbo fins. So I swapped it into the 2015 Revo16. Just FYI, the ST Turbo fins work great!

For cruising the pedals at least now put some pressure on my legs and the Revo16 moves very nicely through the water. I have the trailing edge of the fins set at the lowest tension. mmiller is correct about the peak performance, at max hull speed for me they wear me out pretty quick. I think I can get it going just as fast with the ST fins. But I usually cruise with my wife and kids, do some fishing, and once in a while do some treks with my fire department buddies. So for me the ST Turbo fins are the perfect match for the Revo16.
