I'm not sure who posted the problem with the PA14 steering lines wrapping around the rudder/skeg deployment lines but thank you. I haven't had the chance to put my brand new PA14 in the water yet but I'm going to this weekend. So as a precaution I tested the steering controls and found them to be rather tight . I looked inside the PA14 and saw that the steering line on the starport side was wrapped around the others, needless to say I was disappointed. After about an hour and a half of untangling the lines and realigning the rudder all was fixed.
If anyone is having the same problem I can save you some headache and let you know how I did it. Hobie builds a good product but this one slipped by the quality control guy.
