Hull Serial Number

Hello,

The serial number on my recently exchanged 2016 Hobie Revolution is very difficult to read, and it looks like the last two digits were changed from 15 to 16. The dealer said it was 2016. I'm concerned if I try to resell it or it is stolen and returned, because the numbers have been altered. The dealer is going to mail the Statement of Origin to me. I'll try to post pictures.

Try rubbing a soft pencil or dark chalk over the serial number sequence to make it stand out better.

It appears to me the last digit was changed from a "5" to a "6"....Human error/boo-boo or ????......Only Hobie can confirm the serial number at this point for you.

I received the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin, and the numbers matched. I guess that the kayak was made on a Monday. Thanks for your help.
