Just got a new Outback and do not know what the Hobie Express ID is used for. It was on a label on the side of the yak near the serial number. What is this used for and how do you utilize this number?

Thanks

There is a QR code on the sticker that when scanned will take you to a warranty registration page filled out with boat model and serial number. The text number can be used by us to search for the boats serial number in case you can read it on the hull where it is engraved.

Thanks Matt,

I am having an issue with reading the number on the hull. Have tried graphite but still difficult to read. Thanks so much for the information.
Joe

jfc, try shining a flashlight parallel from the top, bottom, left and/or right. The shadows should pick out the number.
