So we're getting a kayak ready to head out...

And we see a small piece of paper inside of one of the lexan water bottles that come with the kayaks....

On the paper, we found the following:

1. Hand wash only in warm soapy water
before and after use.
2. Do not immerse or soak in water.
3. Bottle is not for a measuring device.
Amount marking are for approximation only.

We laughed so hard that we didn't get any work done for a couple of hours.

Beer contains water. You'd have to shoot for something else, like 100% grain alcohol.

:)

That's as good as the hammers that say "Do not use to strike any solid object".

You know... This might take some research. I've got a keg of Sierra in the warehouse. I better go check solubility.

Ooh look, a fancy bottle with the Hobie logo came with my new Yak, nice.

Hmm, it is way too small for the Bottle-holder and just falls out?

Am I missing something here, was the bottle supposed to have a neoprene cooler sleeve that makes it fit snugly in the provided holder?

Hmmmm, where's my Hobie Water bottle? I seem to have lost it after one use.

My dealer, when he shipped my Outback put most of the accessories inside the kayak via the hatch. I didn't know he did this, and of course some of the stuff slid around and wound up waaay in back where no once can reach it.

Anywho, finding the bottle was an accident to begin with. I was out kayaking/fishing one day and I had to pee. Lo and behold, I was in the middle of nowhere out in the bay and the waves were pretty rough.

I didn't want to take the risk and stand up but I also didn't want to wee inside the kayak. I NEEDED A CONTAINER, BADLY ... and PRONTO!!

I had placed some stuff inside the front hatch and so I gingerly crawled to the front, praying to alah that I don't fall out in the midst of a crisis!

After struggling with opening the hatch, I reached in amongst my stuff (hoping that I had some kind of a container inside) and all of a sudden there appeared this "HOBIE" water bottle.

"Thank you, thank you, it's a MIRACLE! ... somebody up there likes me!" PERFECT, a PEE bottle and it came FREE and in the nick of time!

So hokay, after using it and dumping the contents in the ocean (polluting the fishing area) ... I looked for that piece of paper that came out of the bottle which I stuck somewhere .. but where?

AHA! Found it (under my seat where it wouldn't blow away) and the instructions fit the occasion. Wash with warm soapy water! Too late to wash before use, hope I don't come up with something! But how'd they know what I was gonna use it for?

When I got home, it got SOAKED in with very hot soapy water (Oh Well so much for following instructions!) and stuck in the dishwasher. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna be drinking out of it anytime soon!

Don't matter anyhow, I've lost it again!
