Well what do you do when one of these things is going to run you down?

I was particularly concerned about lightening more than anything else.

What can you do?

To compound stuff the next trip I encountered a pod of 3-4 whales.

I consider them more dangerous than sharks. Got chased by a cow last year. (Greg LeMond had nothing on me pedaling wise.) another time caught between to doing a Samoan slap dance with their tails.

This time I was fortunately, pretty faraway. (blew pic up in iPhoto)
