This guy Rocked his name was Andrew McAuley and from what I've heard his story will be on Natioanl Geographic 2nite here is a link to see he tried to kayak from Australia to New Zealand to say the least thats on the extreme side of life this may be alittle much to veiw for some.

Those seas down south of Tasmania and South Island NZ are wicked, and its pretty much a death wish. It was however very sad they did not take his distress call seriously at first.

This was such an incredible human effort that sadly ended in tragedy only 80km from completion. I had been following his progress at the time with great interest via his website. It looked like he would do the impossible but tragically it was not to be.
