Sailing Upside Down

Hey Kep,

Off the subject a little. I told you about my Backyard Piddle Pond compared to the territories/waterways you have shown pictures of. Of course the backyard lake is for fun I am 8 miles from the coast as well as local rivers and waterways. They don't call South florida the Venice of America for nothing. I thought I would post a few pictures.

I kayak often with a local group South Florida Kayaking Meetup and the following pictures are a local river loop of 7.5 miles inner city. The first is the aerial of the river.










I need take a few pics of some Revolution modifications too and post them another time.

The Backyard Piddle Pond Record ... well before the 36" common carp dragged me around for 40 minutes and then snapped line before pic could be taken. Arggghh!!!!

Not tootin my horn but yes not much not to like. Amazing for 5 years I was the only soul ever on the lake fishing or sailing (previously had a Dink row/sailboat). Even had a neighbor asked me how could I enjoy a small boat so much? I asked how can you live on a lake and NOT make use of it???

Now several people have gotten boats or canoes and fish it regularly.
Fortunately all motors are electric, no gas motors allowed.

I have a 13' 6 person electric deck boat we cruise around in for pleasure rides with friends, family & dog. Our Lab loves riding in the well of the Revolution.

But even as convenient as it is to just go out back it is great to travel around the area and partake in the variety of local waterways and the ocean.

Kep, even in winter in shorts, year round you could boat daily with weather permitting of course.

Of course Hobie kayaking and sailing on the lake is awesome but just for curiosity sake if you are curious .. here is the other LAKE TOY.
