Roadrunner - I considered that as well - but if I went that route I would make sure to carefully test them in a capsize scenario (supervised :)) and determine whether this would be an issue under real conditions. I suppose ideally - the heel straps would only provide support and not force your feet up into the feet straps to the point that they would be there under force. Then again - if the feet straps really don't provide much gain in efficiency - just using the heel straps as you've indicated might be the easiest and safest way to go.

Also, I looked for the results of the Bay To Bay Kayak Race and was unable to find them? How did you do Roadrunner?

Mike, two Adventures were entered in the 5 mile 16' to 19' Sit-On-Top category. They took first and second place. Obviously you picked an excellent boat for speed :!:
