 Post subject: PATCHING A HOLE IN A YAK

Matt,
i'm thinking about buying an older outback.
it ooks good except i has a small coffee can lid size hole near the back, on top where the bungee for the rudder is. I have a picture but don't know how to post it.
it's not a hole per se, the top if the hull os peeled away about 3/4 of the way around the circle. happened when he held up the yak from the bungee with it loaded!

can something like this be repaired relatively cheap?
it floats well, just has the bad spot in the top...

wish i could send the dern pic!!!!

Maybe... Sounds like the lifting handle broke a section out. Maybe actually was hanging by the handles? You can weld plastics. We have a soldering type welder shown in the catalog. Since it is above waterline... less of a risk.
