Hey Scalindn,
A hearty welcome to the Hobie Forum! What are you driving, or are you in the process, and still looking?
Best,
Dick

Apalach,
Thank you.
I am in the "trying them out" process. Been reading for awhile now but finally went and tried a Revo and an Outback last friday...very cool. I had a Sik and Sok about 10 years ago. What I remember most (besides seeing and catching way more fish) was numb butt. Not from cold, from sitting. So I will need to spend more time in one or see what others do about this problem...or is it just me?? The local Hobie dealer here does not rent them so I will need to find one that will so I can try it for a longer period of time.
Thanks,
Bill

Scalindn,
Fortunately, the Hobie stock seats (at least the older models) fit me fine, but not so for others. You can buy an inflatable pad (cheapest) and that works for some, or you can go for the really high end seats. You can see these at KFS (KayakFishingStuff.com), as well as elsewhere. But, you are correct--try to find a dealer that will let you try/rent the various models before deciding. BTW, where are you located? Good luck and don't be hesitant to bounce any questions you might have around here. Lots of helpful folks, with lots of experience, on the Hobie Board.
Best,
Dick
