I removed and replaced the standard twist and stow rudder for the new
Ruddersaurus...
Stowing and deploying takes a bit more effort...
Backing out the rudder adjustment bolt just a hair helped alot.
The rudder effectiveness and overall tracking is much improved and I definitely like this latest tweek!
A deeper draft and extra effort to deploy and retract seem to be outweighed by the improved performance...
I went for a 5 mile splash in chop and a 10-15kt breeze and was very pleased with the upgrade...
Initially I tended to over control but quickly adjusted my inputs and the results were encouraging.
Smaller corrections produced larger results and crosswind handling was much better (IMHO).
