Hi All!
I've had a great couple of days reading the info here in preperation for my first peddle kayak, a Revolution. Thanks to all who have contributed.
I've done some paddling over the years but shattered my arm about 3 years ago (a month after buying a new paddle kayak

), so can't paddle anymore. I'm thrilled to have found the Hobie Rev so I can get back on the water again. I went for a peddle tour with "Outdoors and Beyond" in Huskisson (south of Sydney) and loved it. Put my deposit down then and there.
I've been reading many of the forum topics about loading a kayak on to the roof of a car and I've ordered the rack & roll extender to fit my roof racks so I only have to lift one end at a time. I now realise part of my problem is going to be turning the Rev upside down to get it on the roof. I'm wondering if anyone can give me some insights about how to turn the thing over (almost one handed) and get it up on the roof?
I've looked at the Thule hull lifter gizmo but I'll still have to turn it over and lift it, and, it cost's a motza!
I guess my only other option is a kayak trailer so I can reverse into the water and not have to lift anything.
Any suggestions would be welcome...
