A question that someone can hopefully answer. I've recently changed rudder blades on our "revolutions" to the larger blade. It is now fairly hard to raise or lower the rudder. Is this due to increase in weight of the blade or is there an adjustment to ease the system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

With the older up control lever... yes, more weight and harder to raise and lower.

To lower, swing the rudder left and than as you steer right... lower the blade. This swings the rudder mass in the right direction to get it moving up and over to the down position. On the way back up it should raise a bit easier than going down, but a wiggle of the steering helps release the rudder from the lock down. If it is simply not coming loose, try loosening the drum bolt. A little wobble is required to release from the latch down.
