I have a mirage drive revolution. Should I leave the scupper holes in the cockpit screwed in when I kayak or take them out. I know a wet butt is par for the course but which method keeps the butt drier? In or out?

Others may have a different opinion but I have never taken mine out in two years. I have gotten water in the seat area but not very often. I know the scupper holes in the back deck take on water but then it drains. I guess the seat would do the same. Try it without them & see what happens. I am heavier so I set lower in the water.
