Can anyone point me to past posts or information regarding maintenance for older style stainless (pre-plastic 2005) Mirage drives?

Picked up a used Outback with a September 2003 build date for the 2004 model year and was pleased to find that it had the older style drive, but not sure how to trouble shoot or adjust.

Drive well was not reinforced but the cam bolt columns are not cracked/damaged. Was out for five hours in light chop and took on less than a cup of water - normal IMHO.

I have started the process of requesting a drive well reinforcement kit from Matt Miller through my local outfitter.

Thanks and hope everyone is enjoying SUMMER 2009 8)

Old or new the maintenence and adjustments are pretty much the same. Review the FAQ area:

Lots of drive information there.

Thanks Matt.

...and thanks for having the reinforcement kit sent directly to my home address.

No surprise to anyone who frequents these forum pages that Matt and Hobie once again excels in customer support and service! :D
