Hey Darin,
Looks like where both heading in the same direction. I have a 6 and 9 yr old boys, and would like to take each of them out with me on occation. I really did consider the outfitter prior to visiting my local dealer last weekend. First off he did not have one in stock, and since I had to special order it, I was going to get hit with a shipping charge or $120.00. Which the dealer was going to split with me.

After going in there with my heart set on an outfitter, and talking with the sales guy for awhile. The light bulb went off!!!!! He said, what happens once your boys are grown. They most likely will want to do there own thing on the water. Which I can SO see happening. I've also read many threads of the nicknames of tandems. "The divorce kayak". Almost everything I've read(on other forums) says you want to go left, and your spouse wants to go right. I can SO see this also happening. So, after checking out what he had in stock, and available for demo, that's when I made an appointment to demo the Sport, Outback, and Revo. From another post I have you can follow whats been happening. I will test drive all three tomorrow if weather permits, and make a final decision. I'm leaning toward the Revo, but lets wait and see. I will also be bringing the boys, and hubby so I can also try each with a little passenger, and to see how it might feel to stand and fly fish. I will let you know. Good Luck!! Lisa
