I just noticed that our two drive units, both V2, have a very slight difference. Not sure what you call it but the axle that runs laterally, forms the pedal pivot, and locks in to the retainer clips. On one the ends are rounded and on the other they are camfered. Is there any significance to this difference? Does it imply some other difference that is not visable? :?

The units seem to be otherwise identical. Both have the splash guard on the back, the wrap around chain cables, and neither seem to have set screws on the fins.

If used in the new Click-n-Go hulls you can have issues with the rounded end one.

In the MirageDrive FAQ

The beveled end one is the latest version (2009 Model year and newer)
