Rudder Attachment Question

While cleaning my boat up yesterday I noticed that the plastic pin that hold the rudder on the back of my boat was pretty loose. Enough to where I could easily push it out with just my finger and little effort. The rudder assembly will also sort of wabble due to the loose fitment of the pin. Is it supposed to be that loose? I know it can't be super tight because it has to turn.

This maybe an impossible question to really get an answer to on the web, I'll have to take it by my dealer the first chance I get and let them take a look. Any thoughts in the meantime.
