I just recieved a lanyard for my mirage drive and want to install. My drive is from 08 and doesn't have the triangle cut out like the one in the FAQ section above.

Can I just drill a 1/4" hole and use a clevis ? Or is drilling something I shouldn't do?

I bought the splash guard too and want to screw it on. Any suggestions on what SS screws to use?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You can drill.

The accessory splash guard uses zip ties... sure you know. If you want to do the factory install: We use tapped holes. 2 each #8 x 5/8 screw. #10 washer.

Thanks Matt. I'll probably drill and tap. Thanks for the info on the drive leash too.
