 Post subject: Bassyaks Trolling Motor

Has anyone tried the Bassyaks trolling motor that attaches to the rudder? Looks like a nice set-up, but i'm concerned about damamge to the rudder or motor when twisting and stowing it. Also, how well does the kayak pedal with the motor dragging in the water when you're not using the motor?

If you're talking about the Hobie evolve, here's a review: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16769

Scroll about half way down and look under "power modes" for info regarding pedaling with the motor off. Hope this answers your questions. 8)

No, I wasn't referring to the Evolve, but that info you suggested is helpful. Thanks.
Bassyaks makes a motor similar to the Evolve, that's what I was referring to.
