New Handle part numbers and use on non TI

I tracked down 2 part numbers

88991301 - TI Steering Handle - $8.95
88991351 - Steering Knob - $6.95

Am I correct in assuming that this handle and knob will work on older boats?

Specifically the Adventure Island pre-2010 models?

If so I guess they must use the same allen screw attachment.

Putting together a huge parts order and wanted to be sure this handle would work so I can add it to the list.

It looks like you need to add a new steering crank to your list -- I think the new handle uses a different attachment method.

OK, Yes I was having a hard time seeing the allen screw on the new handle.

And I have to believe that neither of these are the correct parts for the new handle because they are old part numbers, bummer

The 2011 AI and Adventure are supposed to be shipped with the new handle and so must be using the new internal steering crank , so Hobie just needs to add it to their parts catalog....

I can see my already big parts order growing more expensive by the minute -
