I just got a new Outback and noticed that at the bottom of one of the cupholders it is wafer thin and flexes up and down very easily, the other one at the bottom is very solid. Should i be concerned about this

That seems odd. I'd take it to your dealer. If it's a problem, Hobie would take care of it. That meets the warranty definition perfectly.

The Hobie Outbacks cup holders seem to be thinner on the left side than the right, i assume this is either in the mold or due to the diameter of the cupholder.... i have an outback and noticed that in mine but it has not caused any problems, still holds my hobie sport bottle full of ah, liquids.

It is very typical to have varying thickness over features due to the rotomolding process. The process is not precise. If the area is so thin it is at risk of failing or not properly supporting a specific area of the hull... then it could be a problem. Simply being more flexible than another similar feature does not mean is is defective. The thicker area may just be too thick.
