Hey guys, My Name is Rob. New to the site but definitely not new to kayak fishing.

I made this video a while back and would like to share it with you guys for anyone looking for a cheap camera mount solution for their kayak. I'm sure some of you may have already seen it. Also browse youtube as i've seen newer videos where guys have taken my idea and expanded on it.

If you don't feel like building it yourself you can spend about $25 and get an even more flexible setup. for $12.99 on Amazon you can get the Dolica WT-1003 monopod. Add to that a Goitto Ball head camera mount (which allows you to set the camera at any angle relative to the monopod) for 12.95 on Amazon and you have a very nice setup.

Here is a link to 70 seconds of fall kayaking on Candlewood lake taken using this setup and the water proof Kodak Playsport camcorder:
