Glad you are both OK..... now find a nice drysuit, you will thank yourself. I got my first goretex drysuit a couple years ago and was amazed at the comfort... no more wearing a plastic bag drysuit... a must for paddling.

I found one on closeout, sent it to Kokatat to have a relief zipper and booties installed... ($100) I now have a great suit and only about $400 into it.

it has a neoprene neck rather than the Latex neck, it's just on the market. My buddy bought the Expedition suit. Now for the rescue seminar at the kayak shop in Portland, OR next month---covers solo and group rescue, planning, safety gear, etc etc.
